Liz is a Director of Compass-Intelle with extensive experience in Project planning, Building Services and Building Technology including multidisciplinary coordination.
Liz began her career in the United Kingdom before transitioning to the Australian construction industry. With over 20 years of experience, she excels in project leadership and technical advisory.
From concept through to practical completion, Liz has managed all building services disciplines in various sectors ranging from workplace fitouts, base building upgrades, asset repositioning and new construction. She is dedicated to achieving high client satisfaction and project success across a diverse range of sectors.
Liz’s passion for people and culture has driven her to implement innovative strategies that foster team satisfaction and engagement, resulting in high staff retention and organic growth for Compass-Intelle.

Michael is a Director of Compass-Intelle with over 15 years’ experience within Design, Project Management, Engineering and Construction.
Michael is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with over 15 years in the construction industry. With a strong emphasis on client service, he provides clients with quality advice and designs which are both efficient and practical.
Michael is a passionate leader with a focus on mentorship, strong relationships, and continuous improvement. He has demonstrated expertise across multiple sectors including but not limited to healthcare, education, commercial new build/asset repositioning and workplace fitouts.
Michael's in-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes - coupled with an eye for detail - instils confidence and assures clients designs will be implemented efficiently and effectively.

Mark is a Director of Compass-Intelle specialising in Building Services Consulting and Advisory.
Leveraging 35 years of experience, Mark provides clients with specialised expertise - particularly in complex upgrade and refurbishment projects that require intricate staging and minimum disruption to occupants.
Mark has a keen interest in the commercial outcomes of a project to ensure they are aligned with the client’s commercial objectives whilst meeting strict technical criteria. “Solutions need to work commercially as well as technically”.
Mark leads his consultant teams with a focus on high quality client-consultant relationships. He pays particular attention to building team resilience through mentoring and collaboration, and empowering others with the knowledge and skills that result in excellent outcomes.

Joseph is a Director of Compass-Intelle specialising in Mechanical engineering.
Joseph is a highly experienced Building Services Engineering professional with 35 years of expertise in the construction and building services industry. He has built a successful career delivering multi-disciplinary projects across various sectors, including commercial office, retail, and light industrial fitouts and developments.
Joseph excels in building long-lasting client relationships, having some clients for more than 25 years. Whilst his specialisation is in HVAC, Joseph is also highly conversant with electrical systems, hydraulics, fire safety, and energy-efficient solutions.
Throughout his career, Joseph has focused on providing not only a positive client experience, but engineering solutions that exceed client expectations.

Mathew is the Director of Engineering at Compass-Intelle and leads the Queensland studio with 30 years' experience in the delivery of Building Services.
Mathew leads our Queensland studio with 30 years’ experience in the delivery of Building Services. His reputation for delivering high quality outcomes for his clients has led Compass-Intelle’s continued growth in Queensland.
Mathew is a personable engineer, working with clients, project teams, community groups, stakeholders, and authorities to understand their requirements and expectations. His collaborative, cross-discipline approach reduces traditional project delivery silos – resulting in a coordinated approach to service delivery.
A passionate public speaker who thrives on thought leadership and peer to peer learning, Mathew has presented on Vertical Urbanism, Building Intelligence and Equity in Affordable Housing at many conferences worldwide.

Matthew is a Senior Associate and the Sustainability Lead at Compass-Intelle.
Matthew leads the Sustainability Team as an experienced Building Services and Sustainability Engineer. With a client-focused attitude and a strong emphasis on project delivery, he provides clients with advice and designs that are efficient, high quality and cost effective.
Matthew is a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) providing extensive experience in various sustainability rating tools. With a passion for buildings and sustainability, he is the current Chair of the CIBSE Victorian chapter and a former AIRAH Victorian committee member.
Matthew’s focus of expertise is commercial and residential projects, including large complex greenfield and brownfield developments, asset refurbishments and high-rise developments.
